Pods have a tendency to curve and stay tender when long. Noted for its good flavor. This variety could be the same as Grandma Edna’s Cherokee Long Pod, which has been in Melba Beasley’s family for seven generations and can be traced back to her grandmother, Edna, a Cherokee gardener.
2018 Trial Observations: 9.5′ skinny green stemmed plants with red blushing. Minor branching. Smooth light green elongated pods (red blushing as aging). Not very productive.
