South Carolina heirloom. Grown in Sumter SC since at least the late 1800s, most likely selected and improved by Nat Bradford’s Great Grandfather, Nathaniel Bradford.
2018 Trial Observations: 5-6′ green stemmed plants with red blushing. Minor branching. Pods produce close to stem for easy harvest. Productive. Top ten finalist in taste test.
